Five Colorado athletes are expected to represent the state Dec. 3 at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon following their performances in the 5-kilometer girls championship race at NXR Southwest at the Coyote Run Golf Course at Leisure World in Mesa, Ariz. Isabel Allori of Liberty Common was second in 16:58.21, Brooke Wilson from Valor Christian took third in 16:58.97, Bethany Michalak of Air Academy finished fourth in 17:02.79, Emma Stutzman from Pomona placed fifth in 17:09.23 and Ella Hagen of Summit secured seventh in 17:28.29. Michalak could qualify with her Kadet AC team, which took third with 173 points and awaits one of four national at-large berths to complete the 22-team girls field in Oregon.
